Simi was founded by Andreas Russ in 1992. The markets Simi serves are data capture and analysis of movement analysis for medicine, sport, industry and entertainment. Since May 2019 Simi is a subsidiary of ZF Group. At this point founder Andreas Russ retired and delegated management responsibilities to his sons Pascal and Philipp Russ as Co-CEOs.
